xref's not plotting

i have a number of sheets where paperspace xrefs are not showing up when plotted. the sheets all printed fine saturday, but trying to print them now the modelspace xref (in a viewport) shows up fine, but paperspace xref's are not there at all. i have detached & reattached the xrefs, as well as run a recover / audit / purge on both the sheets and the xref files. of course, this only happens when drawings need to be out today

I get this a few times, but usually a recover and/or audit fixes the problem.

thanks. they seem to be working now but i cant figure out why, other than an audit / purge of the plan base. i just dont understand how that would affect a completely different xref in paperspace. /shrug

Me neither. I also can't figure out why this seems to only occur (with me anyway) when you're short on time trying to get things out the door.
