Red face Quick Calc dialog box not appearing in AutoCAD LT 2007

Using Auto CAD2007LT , When trying to learn about the Quick Calc features, I tried to open it when in a drawing. The screen moved over and there was a space where the calculator should have been, but there is a blank area. How do I get the Quick Calc to display, I tried from the command line and the drop down list with the same results. I'm confused with what's going on. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what happened, I closed everything and then restrated things and Boing! there was the Calculator. Some things I just accept, I don't understand why, but that's ok. Sorry about the wasted post.
