    Autodesk;

    I wish we had all the structural aluminum shapes for the style manager and the detail component manager.

    I wish we had all the steel shapes too. There seems to be a few of the new compact sections missing.

    David;

    I have requested the missing steel shapes many times in the past and people just tell me to add them to the database if I need them. I can add them; but the keynotes get all messed up.

    There are several structural steel members that are missing from the database and all the small (bar size) shapes, like C 1X 1/2X 1/8, L 1/2X 1/2X 1/8" or TS 1X 1X 1/8". The only thing I can do is use a bigger member size, scale it down and stretch it as needed to get it to the size I need. The thing is it's not exactly the correct size and the keynote doesn't match.

    I wish we had more content in general. I don't know about the US metric & Imperial content packs but the UK edition is a bit of a joke.

    Well Swim on over then .

    I know that Revit has the same issue with lack of shapes. But they do have more that ADT did. I'm just hoping that Adesk can get together with AISC and just import the whole book. AISC sends us updates once a year to update our calc spread sheets. Ram Updates their program all the time. How hard would it be for Adesk to update and send a service pack with the shapes. I know they spend a lot of time de-bugging (which is a good thing), but some more content would be nice.
