AutoCAD 2005 - AcDbRegAppTableRecord appears when an Audit is performed

AcDbRegAppTableRecord

This comes up with a 2005 ACAD drawing when running an audit. Two instances are found listed as "ams_pause" and ams_time."

Never corrected, never purged, only causes drawings to open stupid slow.

Copy/paste to a new file works, but what is the actual problem? Any ideas?

have you tried recover as opposed to just audit?

Yep... No difference.

Interestingly enough, when I audit it creates a bad audit block which I can purge, but it doesn't solve the problem. I run audit again and it's still there.

Don't know if it will help any, but have you tried purging the regapps?

You can't do it from the dialog box. You have to type "-purge" (with a leading hyphen), then select "regapps".

is it possible to post the troublesome drawing, I know that 2006 and above have better auditing and recovering abilities, maybe we could recover it for you and take care of the problem.


or something else might be if you have an xref attached to the drawing, you should look at auditing/recovering the drawing that is attached, it could be causing the problem as well.

-purge did it... Forgot about the command line option. Audit now comes up clean and the files open nice and fast.
