Default AutoCAD LT 2000 Time Tracking for drawing history

Hello. I hope this the right area for this question.

I know within an AutoCAD file you can issue the "time" command and find out how long you've been working on a drawing.

But I'm in and out of several drawings in the course of a day, and my bosses want to know what I've accomplished. Is there a tool that will record what drawings were opened and for how long?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Your boss does realize that opening a drawing doesn't necessarily mean that any work is being done on it.... right?

There are some external app solutions out there, but they will not run on LT.

    Hi

Maybe look at Chronos for AutoCAD - Time Logging Utility.

Disclaimer: I honestly do not know if the above works with AutoCAD LT... but the following comes from First Look Review: Chronos for AutoCAD by CADalyst...

    Hi Tim,

You can try Timetrack Professional by Bit Computing (www.bitcomputing.com). It can automatically recorded the time on any applications you used, not just limited to AutoCAD. Say for AutoCAD, it can track the time on individual drawings you work on.
