Question Suitable laptop for 3D with AutoCAD

I have to go to a job site meeting next week and take some 3-D details with me to show to an architect, GC and building owner.

I've built them on my desk top machine. We use 2004.

The company has an older model Dell lap top. It has 2004 on it.

    Can I do this?

What is required on the lap top to be able to handle 3-D?

    Thanks,
    David

It depends on the amount of RAM and how good the graphic card is.

It should be able to take a 3D model but I would avoid 3Dorbit as this could crash it.

It seems to be the only problem I've found on my laptop, but don't expect anything to happen quickly.
