WELL, THE THING IS THAT I WANTED TO SEE IF SOMEONE MADE ANY CHANGES TO A DRAWING I HAD, EDITED ATTRIBUTES OR NEW LINES. (CHANGES DONE DAYS OR EVEN MONTHS AGO)
WHERE WOULD IT SAVE THE TEMP (UNDO) FILE?
The dwg file is itself a database. All you have to do is compare the two. There are many third party viewers out there that can do that. We use AutoView. I'm not sure if the newly released Autodesk Dwg Design Review can do comparisons or not.

In ACA2008 there is a drawing compare tool (Idon't know if it is in vanilla cad) where you can see any differences between two files.
Also if you right click on a file and view properties you can see who last saved the drawing.
Forget the UNDO file - it is only maintained during the current session.
How good is drawing comparison software?
What kind of information does it supply?
Cordinates for data?
I apologize if some one thought I was screaming
