Vertex boxes greyed out

Hey...

I got a drawing from someone else and when I tried to export the drawing as enclosed polygons to MapGuide only 3 of the 10 parcels are displaying. When I click on each parcel and check the properties, the only difference between the ones that went and the ones that didn't is the Vertex X and Vertex Y. In the ones that exported the Vertex X and Vertex Y boxes are whited out and the ones that didn't export, they are greyed out. I'm not really sure what the means, but i would like to be able to change the greys to white and hopefully i would be able to export them out.

Any ideas on how I might accomplish that?

Do you have any idea how those polygons where created? I tried just about everything I know to get the vertex to be grayed out and nothing seems to work. Were they maybe created in another application then saved as a dwg.? They are not part of an xref are they?
Post a copy of the file if you can. The only thing I know is you might try attaching that dwg to a blank dwg and query in just the polygons.
