User unable to save back to drawing files in a particular folder

One of our users is having trouble saving drawings that he opened from a particular folder. Every time he saves one of these drawings he gets the following message:

Warning: An error occured during save.
We recommend that you run RECOVER on the drawing.

When he runs recover, AutoCAD reports "no errors found" and the drawing opens...next time he saves it happens again. This seems to happen only with drawings in this folder. I tried opening and saving one of the drawings giving him this headache and it was just fine. Baffled I am, can anyone unbaffle me?

Has this folder attribute read-only? Or copy this folder and rename it.

That is not the problem. I am able to save the same drawing to the same folder with no problem, and once in awhile he can too!

Is your user using the MOVEBAK utility?
