INTERNAL ERROR: !stub.cpp@219 when closing DWG's in AutoCAD 2007

We have recently upgraded from AutoCAD 2004 to 2007. When some of our users close their drawing they are encountering the error: INTERNAL ERROR: !stub.cpp@219. This error occurs intermittently (I hate that). The error is fatal as it closes the application. Any other open drawings are given a chance to save as 'recover'.

Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

have you made sure you have all the service packs and any hotfixes that might apply installed?

I just installed service pack 2 and compared versions of hotfixes. I should be up to date. I still get the error.

I searched quite a bit and didn't find anything on this. Have you tried a repair?

I think your program has done crash with the windows system.

That may be true. However, nothing has changed on these desktops except the uninstall of Acad2004 and the install of Acad2007.

Maybe you uninstall AutoCAD 2007 and scan your computer and again install AutoCAD.
