Summary: Optimize the sizes of property palettes to afford more screen real estate.
Description: I would like the AutoCAD User Interface to be more conscientious about screen real estate. In particular I would like the Property Palette to be more streamlined. There are too many pixels needlessly lost to margins, padding and indents.
How Used: Screen real estate is valuable. The information in the property palette is also extremely useful. It provides a window into the inner workings of the selected objects.
In order to take advantage of this wonderful tool I would like to keep it open and visible all the time. Unfortunately, to read the information inside, it occupies 1/4 of the screen, and my screen is a very reasonable 1280x768.
- Time is wasted opening and shutting this window.
- Time is wasted scrolling through this window.
- Other palettes could also benefit from a reduction in fluff space.
