    Cool Props issue?

I just got my third new laptop up and going. I was teaching a class on Acad and tried to highlight a VP and look at its props. It is ether blank or if I grabbed a pline or something with it it will only show me the pline? It acts like something is wrong with the properties. I have noticed a couple other place when I look at the props they are blank, or if I go to look at an object properties with fields or something it will not show them to me even when I click on the props.

Also when I go to help some of the help items will not display?

Properties messed up usually means the registry has been messed with, usually a reg cleaner. Go through the repair feature on the AutoCAD CD.

    Question Re: Props issue?

Brand new computer no cleaner ran, I did install Solid Works and that damn e-drawings did come in. SO I ran a repair and nothing it still does not work. I found another thread and it did not have a fix but they were haveing the same issue.

Yes It is on a layer turned on and thawed, along with the picfirst is set correctly. Also help is messing up so what is going on???

Since it is a new install, I would remove the software, reboot, delete any folders associated with the ACAD install, then reinstall, ....

I had an issue with props where any time I grabbed a dim, AutoCAD would just vanish without a trace. I tried repairs, didn't help, the folks at Autodesk had me do a complete uninstall, reinstall and it works great now.
