Default MText created in AutoCAD 2008 not holding its formatting when opened in AutoCAD 2007

When I create mtext in autocad 2008 and make it left justified it looks ok, but when I open the same file in 2007 all left justified mtext created in 2008 is now right justified. Mtext also losing a lot of its other formatting features when I open it in 2007. After I fix it in autocad 2007 it stays ok in both versions of autocad.

Any ideas. I dont know much about the new annotative features, but the properties of the mtext say it is not annotative. I posted this under the annotation portion of the autocad 2008 forum last thursday but did not get a single response or question.

Maybe if you post a sample drawing.

I've not played around with 08 too much yet, but if you post a file for us to look at, maybe someone will find the answer.

Attach is a dwg with what the text should look like and what it looks like after it was created in 2008 and opening in autocad 2007. Thanks for looking into it.

There was a similar problem posted on the autodesk website but it was not the solution.

Service Pack 1 seems to have fixed this problem. Here is the link for anyone who needs it.
