    Cool AutoCAD 2008 - Finished renderings of Apartment Buildings

    This is the last render of the apartment building.

    i tried to give the realism on a model.

    I like the finished product, but how are you creating the background? It looks like there's seam near the middle (maybe a corner?) jutting up from behind the building. It could be distracting.

    Often what I do to create a background is to create a dome, shell it, cut it in half (so it looks kind of like the sydney opera house), then place it around the scene. It's kinda cheating, but it'll surround your model with a seamless background to which you can add a nice sky-like color or even a sky material with clouds and such. Check out the attached pics to get an idea.
