Default Error - Reloading Family "caused deletion of non-editable workset"

To start things off - we just upgraded our project and families yesterday to 2008, so I'm not sure if that is part of the problem. I edited a toilet family, but when I try to reload I get the error message "This action has caused deletion of non-editable Workset 'Family: Level Head: Level Head - Upgrade." When I click on "Make Elements Editable," the message won't go away.

I've tried a few things myself, which have all failed:
    1. Making the workset editable before reloading
    2. Deleting the Level Head - Upgrade (select all instances is greyed out)
    3. Changing the name of the toilet family, which worked to get the toilet in, but now I have the original family that I can't delete without the same error message

For now I can live with it, but my fear is that this will happen with another family. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,
    Laura

I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I this morning I was able to delete the offending workset. I made it editable, did a purge unused and was able to delete the Level Head Family along with the toilet family. I had tried the same thing yesterday, but it didn't work then. Oh well, it's out of my file now.

We get stuck in a "Make Editable" loop that never ends when we try to delete the "upgrade" level.
