what they're talking about is the difference between certain Architectural Desktop features and tool palettes ... different interfaces .. apples and oranges. For what you're asking, I don't think there's any issues ...

Why? - You are using AutoCAD LT 2004, therefore Dynamic Block functionality is of no use to yourself.
