Default New Corp. info in your Revit Template?

Similar to my Wiki thread, I was thinking about using my corporate default template to get fresh news out to users. It loads automatically on startup (we've had a few problems finding the network license if the project file is "double-clicked" so we open first, then open project.) I was thinking about having a drafting view set up that shows the latest info about the template, files, libraries, or revit news, etc.

I still think there must be a better way to get info out to users without blanketing the entire firm or even a "revit user group." this way, it would definitely only get out to those who are using it (it pops up every time they open the software.)

it doesn't have to be the "new project" template, but just the "information template."

    Is anyone else doing this?
    Does it work well?
    Do you think it's a good/bad idea?

    feedback appreciated. Thanks!
