Question Bend Table "Z" for unfolding calcs

I have seen a method of bending a 3" sheet metal part into a "Z" shape then measuring it. From that (the real world compared to Model) you can get the adjustment to add to the bend tables. Does anyone know what I am talking about? It may have been a AU class but I cannot remember where or how to do it?

Could you post this method (or a link)? I would be interested as well.

Cool Re: Bend Table "Z" for unfolding calcs

Let me find them again and I will post it.

The biggest thing I found was to make sure the die on the press break is the same as what you have set for your bend radii. Allot of times you say use thickness * 2 or something and the guy on the break just uses what ever he used last. It could be .25 off because he was too lazy to change the die.
