When i go to settings, the program don't generate the mesh. i select material, put forces and constraints, but i can't generate the mesh. Anybody know what could be happen?

Did you click Stress Analysis Update? (If you used earlier versions of Inventor the tool has been moved in r2008 - click attached image.)
Can you zip and post the file?
Is it trying to create the mesh and failing? If it is, you might try adjusting your mesh size. Sometimes smaller meshes work better.
You might also see if there are any really thin sections. I've had a couple of times when I had a derived an assembly to a part to simulate a weldment fail. It was caused by some interfaces where the faces that touched were literally paper thin.
