Default Anno Scaling and object sizing

we currently have a number of documentation blocks - sections / elevations / room names etc and they work great. we are also trying to use the annotation scaling which generally works out well. the problem now is sizing of objects when the scale changes in a drawing. for instace, with the section tag the tail ends up moving closer to or farther away from the tag head depending on the scale being used. is there some way to compensate for this and still have a dynamic tail?

yeah. don't use the "scale" command. Type in the X Y and Z scales in the Properties window. That does it for me.
