Default Checking / comparing the output from different CTB files

We are currently consolidating everybody's CTB File and making one company standard but we are wanting to compare amonst the settings. Is there a way to have the ctb file plot out a test without having to go through and draw a line with each color and then plot it out?

Doesn't seem too hard to create a single drawing that includes all the colors in your CTB file. Are you using all 255 colors?

Above and beyond that, check here for a list of utilities that you can use to print out the contents of the CTB file.

We are only using maybe 20 colors but everybody has created their own ctb file and has there own way of wanting things to be. I'm the new guy that has industry experience that has the "fortunate" pleasure of taking care of finding the compromise so i'm trying to see how they compare and plot out next to each other when using the lineweights, color settings, screening, dithering and all of that fun stuff.

You could just ditch the ctb and go right into stb plot styles...We are thinking about doing that at our small architectural office of only 4 or 5 CAD users. And users could still use whatever color they wanted since stb aren't by color but by lineweight.
