    Default Big Font

I am opening a drawing in Auto CAD 2008 and I'm getting a dialog box which is asking for a font style ISO3098B. I can browse for and locate the ISO3098b.shx file but as it's not a "big font" Auto CAD will not load it.

Selecting any of the substitute "big fonts" from the menu then continuing to open the file any text attributes that are attached to blocks are not visible.

It is possible to select the blocks and using _eattedit select the text options tab and then select a new text style, however this is dangerous as you would have to know that text should be visible.

Can ISO3098B be edited into a big font?
    If so how???

    Regards

    Wayne

    Default Re: Big Font

You need to create a text style with the Style command. Check the Big Font box and select ISO3098b.shx and (for starters) Bigfont.shx.

A font is not the same thing as a style.
