    Default Fraction Too Close

Is there a way to get a little space between the fraction and whole number of a dimension? I am using AutoCAD 2004 and the fraction is stacked horz but it is close either in horizontal or diagonal. Also I am trying this in fractional type unit format. I guess I should see if it makes a diff if I try arch but one would hope I could do it on either.

Make sure the Remove Leading Blank box is unchecked in Autostack properties (see attached image).

You can access it by highlighting the fraction in the MTEXT box, right-clicking, select properties, select Autostack..

No, these are more for fraction font size or height. I am looking for the space between the whole number and the fraction ex: 11/2 should be 1 1/2 but only. It looks better in arch style but in fraction unit style it just looks too close. My guess is I am stuck with it this way.

How do I get to it from within a dimension. This is what I see when I try to edit the dimension.

    Hi

Check out the following Submission # EX001027 by Peter Jamtgaard on the AUGI Exchange Page -

    AUGI Exchange Search Page

Using this routine will allow you to add the necessary space(s) that you require.

    Have a good one, Mike

EX001027 works but I would have to add a space and that is to much. I guess this is a function of the font and I will play with fonts to find one that looks better. I am currently using ROMANS.
    Thanks for the tries.
