Does anyone know if the Autodesk installers check the PC specs before installing - ie can I install AutoCAD 2008 on an Intel A100 Stealy 600MHz CPU? (note its not "should I" just can I actualy do it - or will the installer stop me)
The reason is that I'm thinking of getting a UMPC to run these on (I know - I might be crazy) .... I'm not looking for great performance, or great usability but just utility - tablet pc is too big to carry around all day in my hand or just for aquick jump out of the office to the site... Already have one and it gets left behind too often
for anyone curious in perticular I'm looking at a Sony UX (1.2GHz Core Solo, 4.5" screen - little small - this should be ok but the screen is really really small I think) or Kohjinsha K600 - (A100 Intel CPU at 600MHz but 7" screen)
thanks for any information anyone migth have.
Karl
