    Default Detail Component Manager

Why not have the Detail Component Manager perform like a tool palette similar to what Design Center is doing? This way, you can keep it on AutoHide, docked and minimized on the side of your screen like the Design Center, Properties, and the current palette you're using.
Give a man AutoCad, and he'll draw you a floor plan.
Give a man Revit and he'll build you a house.
Give Cadmama a couple of drinks and she'll have everyone singing Rockytop!

Because this has been a wish list item for a long time now, I think we (ADT/ACA users) finally have the attention of the development team. My hope is that this will soon become a reality.

That's a great wish, I'd like to see all of the windows act like tool palettes as well as the detail componant manager, eg the help window, the design centre & content browser.

It's funny how when you're using things like this on a day to day basis, you get used to the problem or issue but, when you teach a class and it's full of virgin minds, you start to see how things can be improved, be it the courseware you're using or the software itself.

Thanks for the replies, hopefully it'll get elevated.
