    Unhappy Re: API and ODBC

Have exported to ODBC successfully, although, it is not very smooth to get there. We created a SD cost estimate sheet(s) with lump sums that can be inputted at anytime if the model is still rough. Had trouble with site data. (go figure). We actually hired a programmer to make this happen since no one I know can work w/MSaccess.

If you work in metric great... becuase REvit only exports to ODBC in metric. Otherwise you have to copnvert all of the units exported in to BU's. A real pain!

Tha REvit team really needs to put alot more work into this area for easier transition.

One other thing.. everytime you export to Access you have to update the spreadsheet and if you don't do this part right it will make the whole process cave.
