Default Detail component manager & Microsoft access?

I have looked at locating our detail component manager on the network and have had nothing but problems. From my CAD Manager machine I can access this but from any other station I am unable to.
Does the DCM have a built in reader for reading the mdb files or does the machine need to have Access installed in the program. My other thought is that the other users do not have rights.

There is a GUID embeded in each mdb file. If you are copying an existing mdb file and then loading it onto a system where one with the same GUID that can cause issues. Otherwise, anyone should be able to load a mdb file for dcm or keynote system.

The .net 2.0 had to be repaired, that fixed the problem.
