If the walls and floors are straight and easily done than I would say create wall and slab styles for the pool. Otherwise you might try using mass elements.

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~
Depends on the pool. As Scott said walls and a slab would work ok for a simple pool, but lets say you want to do a kidney pool w/ a slopping contoured bottom that any skate boarder would love to drain and skate in. I think I'd look at using the Drap tool along with either some walls for the completely vertial parts, or a mass element. You can create just about any desired contoured surface with the drape command. Or you can look on some of the 3d sites, cause I bet someone's already created one. Hope this helps.
Hey Tim, coming from a vanilla background i'd use 3D solids then convert to mass elements. Anywho i think we would all be interested in seeing the end result, if you wouldnt mind posting it![]()
nope. And I'm not interested in it either.Originally Posted by Mr Cory

Updated 3D engine?![]()
Thats ok, i hate meshs to begin with, no matter what enviroment they are done in, i usually stick it out with 3D solidsI modelled an F1 car with 3D solids, not easy
