Rotated foundation pile

Hello all,

I created a foundation pile and as long as this pile is vertical it works fine.
However, when I create non-vertical piles (by turning off Always vertical and tunring on Workplane based). I can create my piles.

BUT

The symbolic lines that I used to show the center of the pile is not shown anymore. I can see it is there when I create a section parallel to this workplane. I think I need something like Family Pre-cut in plan which can be set for a structural column.

Also, I would like to read the slope property of the pile to put it in a schedule - I think I have to create a Shared parameter for this. Re-thinking this, perhaps I should redesign my family and add an angle parameter (slope)....

Do you have any other good ideas?

Without looking at the family I can only make a few suggestions. First would be to use a model line instead of a symbolic line. You can set the visibility so that it behaves like a symbolic line. This should help with the plan representation. I would suggest creating a ref line and using the solid sweep tool. It may even be benificial to use a profile family to control pile diamater/shape if it tends to vary a bit. You can then constrain the ref. line with your angular dimensions, you may have already done this.
Shared parameters should do the trick to the info on a schedule.
