Unhappy Multiple sheet sets with same views

I am currently trying to set up sheet sets for mechanical electrical and plumbing disciplines. I have set up electrical first, then copied the file for the other two disciplines. I then replace the title blocks and rename the project browser names - a lot of repetitive work but not too bad, all in all.

The trouble comes when it is time to add more sheets to each set. The views must be identical but the only way to achieve this is to again copy the electrical file and rename all the sheets/change the title blocks again plus the new sheets. The only other solution is to import the new sheets from electrical, but then i must place the views again manually and I still have to rename everything.

Any help on this issue would be great, it's been a long day so if any of this is unclear please let me know...

We create scope boxes for all areas and use those to format the sheet view. These can be copied form one model to another. They will look the same but will not be exact on each sheet. At least the areas are the same

Are you talking about sep. revit models which you want the same sheet setup?

essentially yes, the content will be the same but the files are different. this is to avoid people from different disciplines having to work in the same file. so the architect model is the same and the discipline (m, e, or p) will link in their work and plot with the same sheet setup. It is just a huge pain to A: add sheets to one of these files, then have to copy that work and rename ALL the sheets once again for the other disciplines or B: create the exact same sheet with the exact same view 5-6 times for each discipline/sub-discipline.

Basically I just wish there was a way to copy sheets with the views in them to avoid discrepancies in view placement and the trouble of having to create a view and place it by hand for several identical sheets. Or a way to copy a project and quickly rename the sheets and titleblocks (ie a find and replace command, or a way to export a sheet schedule to excel and use its find/replace).
