    Default Quick Properties Stopped Working

I un-installed Autodesk 360 cloud this morning do to some problems I was having. After the un-install I open Cad and noticed my quick properties has lost its functionality. QPMODE is set to one. When I select a line the qproperties box comes up, but it is blank. When I try and go to customize auto cad locks up and shuts down.

Do I need to re-install AutoCad? If I have to re-install what is the fastest way?

I followed the link to "How to disable Autodesk 360 without uninstalling it" and got a chuckle out of it.

Let me get this straight -- one has to create an account and log into a remote service to configure the local machine to not use the remote service... (I need a bigger face palm)

At least content service can be uninstalled without breaking anything in the User Experience. But damitall -- these superflous programs should NOT be installed wiily-nilly w/o user or cad manager approval.

I think the mistake was showing it as an option in the installer.
I don't think 360 was ever designed to be optional, but rather mandatory.

Well, it _is_ mandatory, and there is no option in the installer to not install 360. What is an option, is the "360 for AutoCAD" -- basically an integration chunk. 360 is rammed down customers throats, unless the installs manually goes through the set up files and cleans up.

I suppose the malware-like installation might be a good thing -- if the cloud team at the mothership are trying to demonstrate how widely used 360 is. "There were 35 Million Synchs to our Cloud service last week" sounds impressive as heck in the boardroom - unless you note that 34,999,945 of those were automatic synchs when somebody logged into Windows, started a CAD application, or saved a file, and only 55 were deliberate.

<numbers exaggerated for absurdity -- i have no information about how that actually breaks down>

Yeah I did this when I first installed my 2014. But it loaded any ways. Some how, some of my .dwg files became locked in the cloud and I was unable to save the file. I kept getting "this file is read only" but when I looked at the properties in windows explorer, the file showed normal and not read only. The files were trying to synk with 360 and since that application was using the files it was read only.

So I tried to shut 360 off and that didnt work. So i completely un-installed 360. My files were opening and saving fine. I go to start working on another project and NO quick properties. I almost got sick, Im under the gun with work and now my productivity is **** and I have deadlines to meet.

This option needs to be fixed. It shouldn't be forced on users. It does nothing for me so why do I have to mess with it.

I have re-installed Cad AGAIN, with 360, everything is working for now. But I know in the near future I will go to save a file and it will tell me "this file is read only" BS
