Create a Legend

Summary: The ability to create a legend/table based on block in a drawing, and their count.

Description: I would like to be able to create a Plant Legend. one that dynamicaly counts blocks and creates a list of what plants are in the drawing based on block counts.

How Used: This is mostly for landscape Architecture people. this is one of the most tedious tasks in this industry. this would make our lifes a lot easier.

Pedro, you can already do this now, it's been there since R2006 or so.

Run the ._EATTEXT command
Allow it to select all blocks in the drawing (or you can select certain blocks if you desire)

In 2008, you can export the table to Excel, link it to Excel, or just place the table in the drawing. A table placed in the drawing is dynamic. If blocks are added or deleted, the table can be updated by right clicking on it and choosing update.

I concur this can be handled as it is now.
