    Default Sloped Beam Question

I have a warped slab and need to have a bent beam run along the underside of this profile. Can this be done? I was going to use a sweep along a path but you can't do this in one shot, need to break in two. Then it is also hard to get the plan grid point position. See attached image.

I have a 14 wk old in one hand and a 2 1/2 tuggung on my leg, I'll expand later tonight.

    Hi,
No bent beams are not available. You will need to make a sweep. Why can't you do it in one shot. Just set up a reference plane along the line of the beam and create a section perpendicular to it.

I was looking to do a sweep but cant get it to work. Can't do in one shot because it's a double slope?

The file even after just showing the roof and roof framing is still too large.

Got your file, I know how to create a bent beam on easy roof profiles (gable type). The roof I have is a warped slopes. Attached is an example. I need the beam at Grid 1.

OK. I think I got it. Export the model to ADT. Create a Section. I exploded the section to lines and then save the file and import it into Revit. It will now allow me to pick the bottom of roof deck.
