Default area from a dynamic block

just wondering, is there a way to extract an area from a dynamic block using a lookup set?

incorporate a closed object or polyline w/ an attribute field. that's the only way i know.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

i'll even go one ahead on Chris' comment and share my area block (i don't know if I've done that yet) in the Sharing Forums.
