Default DIMS losing annotation property when added to drawing.

    Hi All,

I have made dimstyles that are "annotative" and made a palette tool to create a dimension using one of the annotative styles. When I add a dimension to a dwg from the palette the dim comes in at 1:1 no matter what my annotation scale is set at. When I check the properties of the dim line the line for "Annotative" shows up but is set to "No". The same thing happens when using the Dashboard and I can see that the annotative dimstyle I made is set current, complete with the anno icon next to the name.

Any ideas what's going on? Thanks.

What is CANNOSCALE set to? Check the new pop up menu in the lower right corner of the drawing window and see if it says 1:1. It sounds like your trying to annotate in the wrong scale. By the way, I'm currently teaching an ATP class on Annotative Scaling (ATP206). Check it out, you can still join in .
