Default Revit 2008 DWG Export Problem

With Revit 9.1 when I exported a view to AutoCAD, the text annotation and associated leaders went on to the text layer defined in my custom line export setting file, with the object colour set to "by layer".

Since upgrading to Revit 2008, when I export the same view with the same settings file (or one of the standard 2008 ones), the text is set to colour white and the leader to colour 10 (leader is white with standard 2008 settings) rather than "by layer"

There dont seem to be any options to change these in Revit Export layers settings.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Revit uses a text file for mapping object styles to layers. But i guess you knew about it. the OOTB map text to A-ANNO-TXT ( color 2)
Then you have other text types like tags.
Check with this file or try another one

I have tried using the AIA text file.

The text exports to the correct layer, but the text and leader object colour is set to white and not to "by layer" as it was with Revit 9.1.

This also happen with floor surface pattens - they get an object colour asigned rather than having colour set by layer as with 9.1

This is important, as I xref my Revit GA plans into AutoCAD detail drawings and sometimes want to change the layer colour or layer lineweigts.

With Revit exporting object with individual colours, I can't do this anymore.

As a workround, I have to open the expoted DWG file, select everything and change colour to "by layer", whch is a pain when it worked so well with 9.1

When exporting, pick the layer and properties drop-down and choose All properties By Layer. Does it fix it ?

    That's done it, thanks

I wonder if it is possible to customise the Revit assigned by object colour overrides?

Its a bit strange, as in both Revt 9.1 and 2008 I had the following setting:

    "Category properties BYLAYER, overrides BYENTITY"

    I had never changed this

With Revit 9.1 I get my text and leaders with object colour by layer
With Revit 2008 I get text and leaders in white or red
Changing "All properties by layer" seems to sort this out for me, but there has definitely been some sort of a change between releases.

    Hello!

I was wondering if there is some information how "wild card" character works in the Revit export layer setting.

ex: A-*-*-wall, but it seems that revit use a format like this : ---_--exist?

    * stands as wild card
