I also don't have considerable performance issues. It only happens when I use it for the first time in the drawing. Thereafter it runs smoothly.

I have one more suggestion. It would be nice if we could right click the popup and have a 'Settings' in order to set popup window size, font size and color. Is it already there? Currently I am away from my AutoCAD.
There are no settings available, as far as I can tell.

and, hey, are you calling me a trouble maker

Actually, I stand slightly corrected. There are some options available through the right click menu, but none that would allow for settings in the pop-up

For everybody's info, the zip download on their webpage is currently holding the wrong file. I just tried it today and uncovered the problem. I sent an e-mail and they have responded and are looking into it.

is There any way That after using This a Time or Two That it will give your previous command selections 'priority' and stack Them at The TOP of The LIST (kind of a 'mini palette' area) ?

    just an idle Thought

    Thanks

I have to agree with those that have expressed distaste with the requirement of going to the mouse to select the command.

I heard about this project quite a while back when I posted a wish, and my wish remains - give me a command interpreter that is intelligent enough to recognize common typos, like typing "line\" (smacking the backslash key and the return key together) and interpreting "line" instead of giving me an "unknown command" response. Better yet would be one that can LEARN a users most common goofs and even his/her new shortcuts.

If my cell phone can figure out what I want to type, then AutoCAD certainly should be able to. I've thought it should be able to do this for years. My cell phone needs to know the entire english language....AutoCAD needs only it's library of commands

I am not sure if this routine is useful.
What about those of us who Autohide the command line?

Could this routine work some other way?

It doesn't matter if the command line is hidden or not; this will pop up at your cursor.

    Another thing I've noticed.

If you start a command, let's use LI for example - you have a very short list of commands that begin with LI - on my screen LIMMAX is the last one. If you click on LIMMAX, you get the rest of the commands with LI in them; you should haven't to click on it, they should show up automatically.

This turned out to be a bit of a stinker for me. It was popping up when I was relabeling paper space tabs, and it was also causing some program hitching, 1 second pauses every few minutes or so.

OK, now that I have tried it more, I don't like it, it is locking up the computer for a few seconds, and the search doesn't make any sense. Sometimes it will locate words based on the first two letters only, then on three, or none. Basic commands/sysvars like msltscale, line, move can't be found with the first two or three letters typed.

Spend your time on existing problems in the program.
    Ditto
