Unhappy I create a Corridor Surface but no Corridor Surface appears?

    Hi all,
Need a little help please. I created a Corridor and wanted to detach the surface so I could paste it into another and get a quantity take off. The detached surface appeared in tool space but could not be exported to xml nor did it physically show up in the drawing? And when I open the properties box to statistics it’s grey and blank. When I expot the surface it gives me a 1k file with nothing in it. Any ideas floating around out there?

Lightbulb Re: I create a Corridor Surface but no Corridor Surface appears?

I figured it out but thanks anyway, just for others who might be interested and are under educated like me here’s what happened.

After creating a surface using: ( Corridor Properties dialog box / surfaces )

You have to click the Add data

    Data type: Links
    Specify code: Top

Then the surface will be created. If anyone lese has a much for technical way of putting it please add more to this post so as to help other newbie’s like me.

Thanks you guys are all great!

You can also have C3D draw your feature lines (Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk, EOP,etc...) and add them as breaklines in your plan view as well.
Sorry I didn't get in here quick enough to answer your question.
