Hi rrufer;751031, (Sorry I don't know your name)
First, Welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post.
The short answer (and only one that I know) is you can't get rid of the educational plot stamp. Even if you copy only one entity to a new drawing in a licensed version the plot stamp will follow.
Autodesk did a good job of embedding the stamp into the drawing.

Call your reseller and ask them the same question. The answer will vary.
In short, there is no way to get rid of it and you will need to re-draw the file. There are RARE exceptions to this, but then they are just that - exceptions.
Why is your client using an educational version? That would be my first question. Tell your client that they need to provide you with a file that was created from a licensed version for commercial use. We got a file once from a consultant that had that same issue, before we new it (it had been referenced into a few other drawing) many of our plot sheets for the project had been affected. After contacting our reseller, they were able to fix the problem. But they wouldn't do anything until after we told them where we got the file from. In this day of software piracy, anything is fair game.
rrufer try this one...
1. open the drawing file affected by this autodesk product.........
2. on the command prompt type DXFOUT then save
3. then type DXFIN then click the DXF file and open
4. then saveas your drawing in another DWG filename then print it
cheers
