    Default Line drawing in LT

after picking the first point of a line or rectangle and pressing shift, @, the @ symbol does not appear on my command line. Why is this? any help would be very welcome...

What version of AutoCAD LT are you using?

I believe 2008 has dynamic input, and defaults to relative coordinates; check the DYNPICOORDS System Variable (if you have that in LT), you can change that, and you won't have to use the @ key, you can just input your coordinates.

Or pause between entering the @ and the following data.
    Sometimes that's enough.
