Default At Last? Revit listed in FireGL driver

I noticed on the web page for the latest Ati FireGL unified driver that Revit was listed as an application automatically recognised by the driver and the default settings were adjusted without user input.

But more satisfying, Revit is listed in the Catalyst Control Center list of applications within the driver 8.391.2.1.1

Is this the first time Revit has appeared in a graphics driver applications list?

No -- the FireGL cards by ATI have listed Revit for three years... and I find it odd that it's listed in Catalyst because that's been a Radeon-only thing till now. I have not installed the latest drivers because they're three times the size in the download, but that's probably for Catalyst which the previous FireGL drivers never had.

I trust your video issues are resolved?

It all seems to work fine anyway

So what does the Catalyst part of the driver do, would you happen to know?

It allows greater control over the display than the regular Windows control panel... similar to nVidia's control panel. The only thing I use Catalyst for is to set up dual monitors!
