ADT 2007 error...need help

Can anyone help, I am getting this error: "fatal error- ACAD" - 16077 while I trying to work.
I cannot find this error anywhere on the AutoDesk support website. I am not sure is this a autocad error or it is a windows error or it could be anything. thank you

Could you be a little more in depth with your question please so that we may better help you out...does this error occur randomly as you're working? or at always the same intervals, what kind of operation are you performing in ADT when this error occurs. have you tried doing a Google search on the error? A screen shot of the error dialogue box and the complete error message would go a long way in helping troubleshoot your problem.

I would think it happens randomly. I am not the person that is using it right now. I didn't get the screen shot before. So i have no idea what is going on. Now I can get a better understanding since I got the screen. We can work on this together if you like to.

I have a feeling the drawing is not clean. And also is only happens with one drawing that involes with multiple Xrefs. I would think Purging and recover all of the Xrefs would do the work.

Offhand my first guess is theres bad RAM in the workstation or a video card conflict. Is the video card on the ADT 2007 compatibility list? if not try setting your graphics to use software rather than hardware processing and see if the error goes away. What OS are you running on? If you're running ADT 2007 on Vista for example, well only ACA 2008 is Vista certified, ADT 2007 and Vista don't play well together. I'd make sure all your drivers and your Direct X version is all up to date as well. Lets start there and see if the error goes away

Yes now that you've said that, that would be a very good idea..check the paths on the Xrefs too and make sure that they are pointing to the right file locations
