Hi,
When inserting the SSM sheet list into a drawing, it does not give me the option to include the SSM Revision #. I think it only allows the drawing file revision number.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a workaround?

CAN you create a table that references SSM? That would be cool.
OK, for 2007 there's apparently no need to start from scratch. r-click on the table, select "edit sheet list table settings", then click on the "Add" button, and from there you can click on the new "data type" field to select from a drop-down list of available fields, and one of them just happens to be "Drawing Revision Number"
hope this helps! (and that 2008 reacts similar)

Right clicking gives me a lot of options, but doesn't allow me to insert the sheet revision. I don't know why it allows others and not this one.

I've tried it in Architecture 2008, and in MEP 2008 with the same results.
I've got a screen shot, but I don't know how to send the attachment.
Thanks for helping out.
save the image as a jpg, scroll down past the "Submit Reply" button and you'll see an Additional Options section where there's a "manage attachments" button. there is where you can upload your image file.
stinks that it's not working out for you, hope the verticals didn't remove that functionality from the vanilla version...
post your shots and let us check it out for you!

I've tried this 2 ways and it worked.
1. You could update your company TitleBlock to include fields. Works off your SSM - Edit Custom Properties
2. If attributes, you could just attribute extract - attext.
I like option 2 - As our Company hasnt a clear direction for this kind of change in option 1
Cheers
Why on Earth does the option for showing the rev show up on the columns addable to a ssm sheet table show up when it refernces an attribute that nobody can change without being a damn programmer?
