Camera view

I cannot see anything in my camera view, I have tried finding a setting for this but cannot. Does anybody know of a way to turn the view on or off?

Silly question here, have you actually placed a camera in your file?
Try something easy draw a sphere, and then place a target camera
and aim it at the sphere, what do you see now?
