Civil 3D as Autocad Start up in Map Display Manager

I wonder if there is a quick way to start Autocad from my C3D installation without the opening of the map display manager pallet . The first thing I do when I want vanilla autocad is close this pallet. Is there any start up keys or config files I could change? If not...it isn't that tough to deal with. Thanks for any tips. I am using 2008 sp1

Hi CD,
If you go to your Map pulldown - Options there is a checkbox to turn off the Map Dialog. You can uncheck that box, then save the profile to a new name and set that profile in your Icon properties.
