Using AutoCAD lt 2008, is there an IMPORT of RASTER File command available, I am new to this Release and cannot find if there is one.

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~

Doesn't seem to work in LT '08
We use our seat of full for dealing with images. LT is hard to get them in and dang near impossible to get them out.
My bad
I assumed a command that has a pulldown would work. I opened LT 2008 before I sent my previous response and saw the command but didn't try it to see if it worked. When you select it an "Unknown Command error is created.
Sorry about the uninformed response.

There used to be a coulple third party apps that enabled that functionality. Its there, LT just disables it. Adesk sued them last year and I'm not sure that its still available. You might search the forums for a link to the company.
OLE insert is all you can do in LT:

If you have any access to any full version of acad, use that to attach the image. After that is done you can manipulate it in LT.
