We are very pleased to see the Revit MEP forums getting busier. It is also good to see new members and the ideas the bring to this community.

We want let you know that we now have a different wishlist approach being used for Revit Architecture. Hopefully it will extend to the other versions as well in the future. There are many things that get wished for in each forum that all three versions of Revit share or at least have in common.

We'd like to ask that our members use this forum to post wishes that are purely MEP concerns or needs. We ask that you use the Revit Architecture wishlist to submit things that all three have in common.

For example:

Graphical User Interface ideas should be submitted to Revit Architecture unless the UI improvement has no relevance to RA and RS.

Another:

Text improvements or basic scheduling enhancement?

What belongs here?

Better design tools, system types, analysis techniques..

In other words anything that all three versions share should be submitted in the Revit Architecture wishlist? Why? Because that list will be formally submitted to Autodesk several times a year to provide a barometer or temperature of what users really want right now. This will help them adjust their focus on the future releases. Also because many wishes getting posted now are just the same as those posted many times in the other wishlist forums and consolidating these overlapping ideas makes it easier to find and evaluate them.

This isn't meant to slight Revit Structure or MEP, just that each application shares a great deal of features and the current RA list is the primary one we have right now. I can assure you that if this forum has great ideas for improving the MEP design concepts and tools they won't go unnoticed regardless.

Thanks!
