    Default Notebook Tablet w/ Revit

    Hi Everyone,
Over the last week I have been looking at picking up a notebook tablet. I was wondering if anyone had any success using Revit on a note book tablet.

Using Revit with it I don’t think it will be that hard; actually it will be kind of nice using a pen on screen rather than a mouse but I am concerned with the panning and zooming tools. Any advice and wisdom would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

I have one, and love it... But i dont actually do my Reviting with it. I Model in Revit (typically in airports, lol) then hit the Snag it toolbar, and drag whatever im working on in to Alias, so i can sketch on top of it for design iterations. Great with camera views too...

Then i just import the raster images when i get back to someplce with enough space for a mouse, and keep working. I know a lot of guys use the pen in revit though. It would be weird for me, since i use a lot of key commands...

I have a Lenovo X60 tablet and use Revit quite a bit. I agree with Twice that you usually don't want to use just the pen with Revit because working efficiently requires the frequent use of Ctrl, Shift, Tab and Esc. If you have a stylus with many configurable buttons, go for it, but I only use the tablet in pen mode for 'casual' Revit work.
