    Default AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2008 Service Pack 2

    In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2008 Service Pack 2, which fixes or addresses a variety of issues discovered by customers and by Autodesk's internal testing team.

    This service pack includes all fixes previously included with AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2008 Service Pack 1. Please see the Readme for additional information. This Service Pack is intended for all versions of AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2008 including those that already have Service Pack 1 installed.

    The service pack includes the AutoCAD® 2008 Service Pack 1 and the AutoCAD Hot fixes: “Linetype display” , “Raster Error” and “Secondary User Windows Start menu launch error”.

    Note: This service pack is global.

    does this include problems in the basic AutoCAD 2008 functions like dynamic blocks and tables?

    Service Pack 2 for Civil 3D includes all the changes that are in Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD as well as three additional Hot Fixes for AutoCAD that were shipped after that.

    I have had SP2 in use for about 4 days now . It seems to work ok. It has fixed alot of table issues.

    Note that the "Stepped Offset" routine for feature lines is broken in SP2. Intermediate elevation points are omitted from the offset line.

    I know that there were two versions of the service pack. Can anyone tell me which one was the original (the one with the profile problem) and which one is the one with that fixed?
