    Default Vault Not sync.

I have several questions about vault.

    1. We have created a network drive to be our working folder. It has everyones name as a folder that is where all our working files go. Does anyone see a problem with this? We wanted to be able to access everyones working folder just incase they forgot to check in are not here the next day. Does this seem like a good idea or just problems?

    2. For some reason our drawings do not sync. Everytime we open one we have to re-sync the directory. Is this normal?

I've seen working folders on the network share before. It does work, and as long as the working directory and folders are mapped correctly, all should be fine.

As for the folders not 'syncing', I'm not sure I understand? Is it there some sort of message, or is the data not appearing correctly? If you're getting an error message of some sort, that could let us know what Vault is doing.

It just has a question mark next to it.

That sounds like the files aren't added to Vault (or at least Vault thinks that).

My first guess is that either the working folders aren't mapped properly. I'd also check to make sure people are logging into the same Vault, even.

Are you one multiple or single project? If you're using multiple projects and have the wrong project active when you try to check in, that could do it too.

Sorry I can't be more help, but it's a little hard to guess without knowing your exact environment.
